Costco (NASDAQ: COST) is the largest membership warehouse club chain in the world based on sales volume.[1] . Costco's main competitor in the US is Sam's Club owned and operated by Wal-Mart. Costco gift card is referred to as Costco Cash Card and has a high resale value probably due to the wide range of redeemable merchandise and service, such as grocery, gasoline, third party gift cards, etc.

Costco offers the traditional plastic Cash Card or an electronic gift certificate version. Electronic Gift Certificate is stored on a Costco.com online corporate account. Cash Cards are available in any amount from $25 to $1,000, while online gift certificates are available in any amount from $25 to $500. Online orders comes with a customizable message.

Costco Cash Card is redeemable for purchases at any Costco store in the U.S. and online at Costco.com. Costco membership is not required to redeem the gift card. However, non-members are charged a 5% surcharge for purchases. Membership is required to purchase or reload Cash Cards.

  • Re-loadable.
  • No expiration date.
  • No dormancy fees.
  • Not returnable or redeemable for cash except in states where required by law.
  • Lost, stolen and damaged cards will not be replaced or refunded.
