Target (NYSE: TGT) is the fifth largest retailer by sales revenue in the United States[1]. Target operates its retailing business exclusively in the United States and competes against Wal-Mart and Kmart.

Target offers both a tangible plastic GiftCard and an online e-GiftCard. Available in any denomination from $5 to $5,000 depending on whether purchased online or in a store. Corporate bulk order is available for purchases of ten gift cards or more in a single transaction. Corporate purchases have free personalized messages and delivery via standard shipping.

Target GiftCards are a collectors item with over 1,300 different cards available for collecting[2].

Target GiftCard is redeemable for merchandise or service at any Target store or at Target.com. Available in any amount from $5 to $2,000. Re-loadable at any Target store.

  • No expiration date.
  • No fees on gift cards.
  • Not redeemable for cash or credit except where required by law.
  • Not returnable and cannot be used to purchase another GiftCard or e-GiftCard.
  • Lost, stolen and damaged cards can be replaced with original proof of purchase.
  • All GiftCards are deemed purchased in and issued from the State of Minnesota.

[edit] Online e-GiftCard

Target e-GiftCard is redeemable only at Target.com toward purchase of products. Available in any amount from $5 to $5,000.

  • eGiftCards expire fifteen years from the date of purchase, except in states where prohibited by law. Expires in New Hampshire only for e-GiftCards of more than $100.
  • Cannot be utilized to purchase plastic GiftCards.
  • Not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a refund.
  • Target is not responsible for lost or stolen e-GiftCards.
